Criminal Justice Processes

The R.E.A.C.H ISVA's (Independent Sexual Violence Advisors), Catherine, Fiona and Michelle,  will offer you the opportunity to receive regular updates throughout the whole of the criminal justice process.  This will include regular updates during the police investigation, as well as keep you update to date during the court process, should you wish this.

They can act as a central point of contact between yourself and those involved in the police investigation.

The ISVA's can help with any practical support for issues you may be experiencing, including referrals for counselling and sexual health screening, or for issues not directly related to your assault, such as housing, employment or financial problems.

The ISVA's can also provide support at court, organising a pre-trial visit before your trial as well as providing support on the day.  Additionally, assistance can be provided for completion of criminal in juries compensation.
